Maine Invasive Species Network (MISN) brings together both professionals and amateurs who are interested in understanding and managing invasive species in Maine.
Our members work, among other places, at the Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, University of Maine, the Nature Conservancy, Colby College, Unity College, Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Maine Lakes Society, several land trusts, and for private land management companies. We also have many citizens who are simply concerned about land stewardship and preservation of natural ecosystems.
The network is very informal. Everybody is welcome to join and participate in any capacity and to any extent desired. There is no official membership. Just let us know who you are, and we will stay in touch.
Registration for the 2026 Meeting Is Open
The next general meeting of the Maine Invasive Species Network will be held on April 1, 2026 on the University of Maine campus in Orono. Please check out its agenda and thenĀ register by March 1, 2026. We hope to see you then.
