In this webinar hosted by the Maine Entomological Society, Colleen Teerling will provide an overview of biological control programs currently underway in Maine (not exhaustive!), with a closer look at several especially interesting and impactful stories. Her talk will highlight how insects can serve as valuable allies in managing invasive species and protecting our forests and landscapes.
Colleen Teerling is an entomologist with the Maine Forest Service. She received her education at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and the University of New Brunswick, and has worked with the Maine Forest Service for nearly 17 years.
